INVADES is a media and events company creating premium content, experiences and cultural moments that bring together ambitious founders, creators and business leaders. We produce long-form YouTube content, live events and brand partnerships designed to inspire and educate our audience. We're entering an exciting stage of growth and are looking for an exceptional Head of Production to lead the operational delivery of our content.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced, highly organised and commercially minded Head of Production to own the end-to-end production of our long-form content.

You'll be responsible for ensuring every shoot is executed to the highest possible standard—from pre-production planning through to final delivery. You'll coordinate talent, venues, freelance crews and production partners while keeping projects on schedule, on budget and aligned with the INVADES brand.

This is a leadership role requiring someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, anticipates problems before they happen and takes pride in delivering world-class productions.

Key Responsibilities

Content Production

  • Lead the production of all long-form YouTube content.
  • Manage projects from concept through filming and delivery.
  • Build and maintain detailed production schedules and timelines.
  • Ensure shoots run efficiently, professionally and on budget.
  • Maintain consistently high production standards across every project.
  • Oversee production logistics including travel, accommodation, equipment and crew.

Talent & Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with guests, speakers, creators and talent before, during and after productions.
  • Coordinate diaries and manage filming schedules.
  • Build strong relationships with freelance producers, videographers, photographers and technical crew.
  • Act as the primary production contact throughout each project.

Venue & Event Coordination

  • Source and secure suitable filming locations and venues.
  • Negotiate venue requirements and manage production logistics on-site.
  • Coordinate suppliers, equipment, catering and production requirements where required.

Post-Production Management

  • Manage workflow with our studio and post-production partners.
  • Ensure edits are delivered on schedule.
  • Review content before publication to maintain quality standards.
  • Coordinate revisions and approvals.
  • Ensure YouTube episodes and supporting assets are delivered on time.

Production Operations

  • Develop and improve production processes and documentation.
  • Create production budgets and monitor spend.
  • Negotiate supplier and freelancer rates.
  • Build a trusted network of production partners and crew.
  • Ensure legal paperwork including release forms, contracts and production documentation is completed.
  • Manage production risk assessments where required.

Team & Leadership

  • Lead freelance production teams during shoots.
  • Foster a calm, organised and solutions-focused production environment.
  • Continuously improve production workflows as the company scales.
  • Help recruit and onboard additional production resource as required.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months you will:

  • Deliver consistently exceptional YouTube productions.
  • Build reliable production systems that allow INVADES to scale content output.
  • Develop a trusted network of venues, freelancers and suppliers.
  • Ensure every episode is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.
  • Improve production efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Become the operational backbone of our content business.

What We Offer

  • £50,000–£60,000 salary depending on experience.
  • Opportunity to shape production at one of the UK's fastest-growing media and events businesses.
  • Work with inspiring entrepreneurs, creators and business leaders.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility around production schedules.
  • Significant opportunity for progression as the business grows.
  • A collaborative, ambitious and entrepreneurial team culture.
